My Timber Pets Guides
From the first chicken on a cube tree to a three-story mushroom island.
This hub is the map of every My Timber Pets tutorial on the wiki. The game is a Roblox idle tycoon: animals chop trees, logs buy better trees and extra floors, and free rolls chase rare crew. You do not need a twenty-page lore dump. You need a first-hour order, then a plan for AFK time.
Start with Getting Started if you just loaded onto the island. If you already finished the tutorial and your income is stuck at a few logs per second, jump to how to play and how to farm AFK. If you are staring at a mystery silhouette and a red button, read how to get rare animals before you replace a dinosaur-style earner with a cute common.
What each guide is for
- Getting Started — tutorial, first animal, first spend, badges.
- Controls — keyboard, mobile, camera, and which HUD buttons to tap.
- How to play — the full loop: chop, upgrade, roll, expand.
- AFK farm — what to leave running so offline time is not wasted.
- Rare animals — rolls, odds like 1/67Qn in official art, keep-or-sell rules.
- Upgrade your forest — why mushroom trees beat empty grass.
- Unlock floors — ladders, extra plots, and the cost of an unstaffed story.
- Upgrade your crew — chop speed, carry, and when to stop rolling.
Use the animal tier list and best crew pages when a guide tells you to compare a pull. Use the codes hub only after the island is actually chopping; a code cannot fix an empty plot.
The loop in one paragraph
You spawn on a small hexagonal island. Official thumbnails show a starter chicken on a green cube tree at 1 log per second, with a few logs stacked on the grass and water around the plot. You spend those logs on better trees (later art shows purple, red, and cyan mushroom trees), extra floors stacked with ladders, and crew upgrades so animals chop faster and carry more. A free roll button can replace the chicken with something closer to the kitsune-style fox or the dinosaur shown in promotional shots. Animals keep working while you are AFK, which is the whole point of the genre.
Everything else on this wiki is a way to spend logs without stalling that loop. Forest upgrades raise the value of each chop. Floors add plots. Crew upgrades raise throughput. Rare animals multiply the same three numbers. If you buy a floor before you have animals and trees for it, you have spent logs on a view.
How to use these pages during a session
Open Getting Started on your first join. After the Tutorial Completed badge, keep how to play in a second tab only if you are confused about HUD sinks. Once you have a staffed tree, you should be able to leave the client for a stretch; that is when AFK farm matters more than another roll.
When a patch lands, skim the updates hub first, then come back here. Guides will mention new floors, new traits, or new roll tables only after they show up in the live game or in official art. We will not copy names from Timber! or Timber 2. Those are different Roblox titles.
Common mistakes the guides exist to stop
- Rolling for ten minutes while no animal is assigned to a tree.
- Buying a second floor because the three-story screenshot looks cool, then leaving the new plots empty.
- Ignoring codes on a day a real drop happens, then installing a fake generator.
- Equipping a rare-looking animal that chops slower than the dinosaur-style unit you already had. Check the animal index.
- Running a script from another lumber game. See the scripts hub.
If you only read one page besides this hub, make it Getting Started, then AFK farm. The rest of the wiki is there when a specific bottleneck appears.

Which guide should I open first?
Use Getting Started on day one. Switch to AFK farm once a tree is staffed.
Do these guides include YouTube videos?
We only embed real My Timber Pets videos. None were indexed for this title on 1 Sep 2026, so the pages stay text-first instead of using clips from other games.
Where do I compare animals?
Open the animal tier list and best crew after a roll, not before your first tree is chopping.
